Seeking Silent Auction Items

Since 1941, the Air Cadet League in partnership with the Department of National Defence has promoted and encouraged the nation’s youth to develop and maintain an interest in aviation, leadership, and citizenship.

The Air Cadet League of Canada's 82nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be in Halifax, June 14th - 17th, 2023. The responsibility of hosting the AGM rotates between the provinces. This year is the Air Cadet League of Nova Scotia's turn to host.

At the Air Cadet League of Nova Scotia, we are a non-profit, and depend on our volunteers, sponsors, and community to assist in meeting obligations under the partnership. One of these obligations is to host the AGM. We are seeking community support to defray the costs of hosting the AGM, estimated to be in the $25K range.

Are you willing to donate an item, service, or experience for our silent auction being held on Saturday, June 17th, to help our cause? Or to make a monetary donation? To show how much we appreciate your support, we'd be happy to provide you with the following:

  • a description of your business, website, etc., on the silent auction table

  • your name, logo, and contact info printed (or you may stay anonymous if preferred)

    • in our meeting booklet,

    • on signage at the host room door

    • on our silent auction webpage

  • a tax receipt

  • our gratitude and thanks for supporting the Air Cadet Program

We expect to have between 120 - 150 people from all over Canada visit our host room.

All donations must be submitted by May 17th to make the deadline for our printed materials.
