About us
The Air Cadet League of Canada is a volunteer organization that provides financial support and oversight to the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
The League is organized into three levels: the National, the Provincial, and the local level, each of which is responsible for different areas of the League.
Our Mission
The mission of the Nova Scotia Provincial Committee of The Air Cadet League of Canada, a civilian non-profit organization, commits to support the Air Cadets by working in partnership with local communities and the Canadian Forces in the development of policies and methods for achieving the aims and objectives of the Canadian Cadet Movement in general, and the Royal Canadian Air Cadets in particular.
The “Royal Canadian Air Cadets” is a national organization of Canadian youth between the ages of 12 and 19. The organization is made possible through a partnership between the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces and the Air Cadet League of Canada.
Young Canadians get to participate in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activates. Whether it is participating in an Drill Competition, playing in a marching band, competing in a biathlon or soaring in a glider, our air cadets are having fun while learning and building lasting friendships.
The Air Cadet Program is made possible through the efforts of many volunteers that freely contribute their time and talents at the local, provincial and national levels of the “Air Cadet League of Canada.” Ensure that the Air Cadet Program is a safe, aviation-oriented, challenging, fun and consistent with our aims.
The Nova Scotia Provincial Committee is sanctioned by the Air Cadet League of Canada to administer and support the Air Cadet Program across Nova Scotia in partnership with the Department of National Defence.
